A beautiful event set under the stars, the Dreams Happen Gala and Auction begins at 6:30 with registration and hors d’oeuvres in the plaza near Neiman Marcus at Stanford Shopping Center.

At 7:30pm a moonlight supper is provided by the bistros, cafes and restaurants of the Center followed by a live auction and raffle of the playhouses at 8:30pm. Guests then enjoy dessert and the opportunity to dance the night away in the Stanford Shopping Center courtyard.

One hundred percent of the proceeds raised from the playhouse auction and raffle benefits Rebuilding Together Peninsula.

Our Auctioneer: Patrick Walsh has been a professional auctioneer for over twenty years, beginning his career at the venerable San Francisco auction house of Butterfield and Butterfield.  During this time, Patrick was involved with such auctions as the liquidation of the Las Vegas Sands Hotel, the Liberace Estate and Jackie O’s property. While at Butterfield and Butterfield, Patrick also assisted local organizations in developing fundraisers with live auctions as their focal event. He is currently a Business Development Executive for U S Oncology, a specialty division of the McKesson Corporation but continues his involvement with many local and national charity events including those with the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer Foundation, Rebuilding Together Peninsula (Dreams Happen), the American Heart Association, the International Children’s Art Museum and various AIDS organizations.
