Dreams Happen
Dreams Happen is a biennial fundraising event benefiting Rebuilding Together Peninsula (RTP) and hosted by Stanford Shopping Center. The event teams local architects and builders in the construction of unique and elaborately designed life-size children’s playhouses. The playhouses are auctioned at the Dreams Happen Gala where guests also enjoy a moonlight supper and a chance to dance the night away -- all under the stars at Stanford Shopping Center.

All proceeds from the event benefit Rebuilding Together Peninsula, a non-profit organization dedicated to rehabilitating the homes and community facilities of low-income neighbors in need from Sunnyvale to Daly City. On Saturday, June 4, 2011, 350 guests attended the Dreams Happen Gala & Auction. Fourteen playhouses were auctioned and one raffled with the winning ticket drawn by a uniformed Menlo Park Firefighter. This magical event raised over $500,000.
