Dreams Happen Playhouses 2009
Greene and Greene and Green and Wild

HKS Hill Glazier Studio
Cody Brock, Inc.

Let your child's imagination run wild in this inside-out world of adventure.  Inspired by the architecture of Greene & Greene, this playhouse employs traditional craftsman styling concepts.  As your child enters this classic bungalow, they will be transported to the enchanted realm of Where the Wild Things Are, where a gnarled climbing tree reaches skyward, a cargo net hangs like a tangle of vines, stars shine overhead, and a Wild Thing slumbers in a corner.  The interior cave provides a safe place to read or plan the next big adventure, while working light fixtures allow your child to play even after dusk in their very own wolf suit.

Out of respect for all wild things, this fantastical playhouse has been constructed out of reclaimed and sustainable materials and uses low-emitting sealants and paint. Best of all, roof-mounted photovoltaic cells provide power to low-wattage LED light fixtures throughout the house, making play a possibility at anytime of the day or night!
